VITA technologies are a favorite choice in many critical embedded computing architectures.  VITA technologies adhere to the open system architecture definition of real-time, modular critical embedded computing systems. VITA is the organization chartered with shepherding the developers of specifications key to the advancement of these technologies.

This workshop is intended for users of these technologies. We will present an update on current VITA activities and key specifications followed by an in-depth tutorial on VPX.

VPX is a broadly defined technology utilizing the latest in a variety of switch fabric technologies in 3U and 6U format embedded computing blades.

OpenVPX is the architecture framework that defines system level VPX interoperability for multi-vendor, multi-module, integrated system environments.

Attend this workshop to learn more about VPX and the OpenVPX architectural framework. Industry experts instrumental in the development of the specification will discuss the details and will be available to answer questions.
